About Purusha Sukta Homam
Purusha Sukta Homam is built on the Purusha Suktam, the Rig Vedic hymn to the cosmic being, Lord Narayana. It is performed for the well-being of the family, traditionally by couples praying for healthy children, and during naming and other samskaras. The priest recites the Purusha Suktam while offering ghee and samidhas into the sacred fire.
