About Raja Shyamala Homam
Raja Shyamala Homam is offered to Goddess Raja Shyamala (Matangi), the minister-goddess of Sri Lalitha, revered for speech, music and the arts. It is performed by those praying for eloquence, progress in careers that involve communication or the arts, and goodwill from people in authority. Offerings are made into the fire with the Shyamala mantras.
