About Maha Sudarshana Homam
Maha Sudarshana Homam invokes Sudarshana, the divine discus of Lord Vishnu, revered as a protector against negative energies. It is often performed at a new home, before a major undertaking or after a run of setbacks, praying for protection and the removal of obstacles. The priest recites the Sudarshana mantra and offers ghee, herbs and samidhas into the sacred fire.
