The brave Yudhamanyu, the mighty Uttamaujas, the son of Subhadra and the sons of Draupadi are here too — every one of them a great chariot-warrior.
About chapter 1
On the battlefield of Kurukshetra, the Kaurava and Pandava armies stand ready for war. Arjuna asks Krishna, his charioteer, to place the chariot between the two armies. Seeing teachers, cousins and friends on the other side, he is overcome with grief, lays down his bow and refuses to fight. The whole teaching of the Gita grows out of this moment of doubt.
