About Saraswati Homam
Saraswati Homam is dedicated to Goddess Saraswati, the goddess of knowledge, music and the arts. Students, teachers and artists commonly perform it on Vasant Panchami, during Navaratri or before exams, praying for learning, memory and clear speech. The priest chants the Saraswati mantras while offering ghee, honey and samidhas into the fire.
