About Hayagreeva Homam
Hayagreeva Homam is offered to Lord Hayagreeva, the horse-faced form of Vishnu revered as the lord of knowledge and learning. Students and families commonly perform it before exams, at the start of studies or on Vidyarambham, praying for clarity, memory and focus. The ritual includes Ganapathi puja, kalasha sthapana and offerings into the fire with the Hayagreeva mantra.
