About Kala Bhairava Homam
Kala Bhairava Homam is a fire ritual dedicated to Lord Kala Bhairava, the fierce form of Shiva regarded as the guardian of time and of sacred spaces. It is traditionally performed on Kalashtami or on Sundays, with prayers for protection, discipline and freedom from fear. The priest chants the Bhairava mantras while offering ghee, sesame and other samagri into the fire.
