About Durga Pooja
Durga Pooja is the worship of Goddess Durga, the Divine Mother who protects her devotees and overcomes evil. It is observed most widely during Navaratri, and families also perform it on Tuesdays, Fridays and Ashtami tithis. The pooja includes kalasha sthapana, Durga ashtottaram, Devi stotras, naivedyam and aarti.
