About Maha Lingarchana
Maha Lingarchana is an elaborate worship of Lord Shiva in which many Shiva lingas are worshipped together with Rudram chanting and abhishekam. It is traditionally performed during Karthika masam, on Maha Shivaratri or on Mondays, and is regarded as one of the most complete forms of Shiva worship. It is conducted by a team of priests over several hours.
