About chapter 13
Krishna explains the body as the field (kṣetra) and the soul that knows it as the knower of the field (kṣetrajña), and says he is the knower in every field. He lists the qualities that make up true knowledge — humility, non-violence, patience, purity — and describes prakṛti (nature) and puruṣa (spirit). One who sees the same Lord dwelling equally in all beings truly sees.
