About chapter 12
Arjuna asks whether worshipping God with form or the formless Absolute is better. Krishna says those who fix their minds on him with steady faith are the best yogis; the formless path is harder for embodied beings. He then describes the qualities of a devotee dear to him: free from hatred, friendly and compassionate, content, steady in joy and sorrow, and equal to friend and foe.
