About this aarti
The aarti of Lord Ganesha, sung first at most pujas since Ganesha is worshipped before every other deity. It is associated with the poet Surdas, whose name appears in the last verse.
Jai Ganesh Deva
जय गणेश जय गणेश, जय गणेश देवा।
माता जाकी पार्वती, पिता महादेवा॥తెలుగు లిపిలో
జయ గణేశ జయ గణేశ, జయ గణేశ దేవా।
మాతా జాకీ పార్వతీ, పితా మహాదేవా॥Jai Ganesh jai Ganesh, jai Ganesh Deva,
Mata jaaki Parvati, pita Mahadeva.Victory to Lord Ganesha, whose mother is Parvati and father is Mahadeva (Shiva).
एक दंत दयावंत, चार भुजा धारी।
माथे सिंदूर सोहे, मूसे की सवारी॥తెలుగు లిపిలో
ఏక దంత దయావంత, చార భుజా ధారీ।
మాథే సిందూర సోహే, మూసే కీ సవారీ॥Ek dant dayavant, chaar bhuja dhaari,
Maathe sindoor sohe, moose ki savaari.Merciful one with a single tusk and four arms; vermilion adorns your forehead and you ride a mouse.
पान चढ़े फल चढ़े, और चढ़े मेवा।
लड्डुअन का भोग लगे, संत करें सेवा॥తెలుగు లిపిలో
పాన చఢ఼ే ఫల చఢ఼ే, ఔర చఢ఼ే మేవా।
లడ్డుఅన కా భోగ లగే, సంత కరేం సేవా॥Paan chadhe phal chadhe, aur chadhe meva,
Ladduan ka bhog lage, sant karen seva.Betel leaves, fruits and dry fruits are offered to you; laddus are your favourite offering, and saints serve you.
अंधन को आंख देत, कोढ़िन को काया।
बांझन को पुत्र देत, निर्धन को माया॥తెలుగు లిపిలో
అంధన కో ఆంఖ దేత, కోఢ఼ిన కో కాయా।
బాంఝన కో పుత్ర దేత, నిర్ధన కో మాయా॥Andhan ko aankh det, kodhin ko kaaya,
Baanjhan ko putra det, nirdhan ko maaya.You give sight to the blind, health to the sick, children to the childless and wealth to the poor.
सूर श्याम शरण आए, सफल कीजे सेवा।
माता जाकी पार्वती, पिता महादेवा॥తెలుగు లిపిలో
సూర శ్యామ శరణ ఆఏ, సఫల కీజే సేవా।
మాతా జాకీ పార్వతీ, పితా మహాదేవా॥Soor Shyam sharan aaye, safal keeje seva,
Mata jaaki Parvati, pita Mahadeva.Surdas has come to your refuge — make his service fruitful, O son of Parvati and Mahadeva.

At the start or end of any puja, on Wednesdays, on Chaturthi and during Ganesh Chaturthi.
