Griha Pravesh (Gruhapravesam) is the ceremony of entering a new home for the first time at an auspicious muhurtham. It usually combines Ganapati pooja, punyahavachanam, Vastu Shanti, Navagraha pooja or homam and, in many families, a Satyanarayana Vratham.
